James H. King

On Tuesday, the 28th day of March, our beloved father, James H. King Jr. quietly passed away. He was born August 17, 1946 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Amy Butler and James King Sr.
James is preceded in death by his son, Linwood E. King and his brother, Frank King.
After graduating from I.C. Norcom High School, James furthered his education at Norfolk State University by earning his bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. He had a love for people and a knack for selling and he soon became a car salesman. He also had a passion for speaking the Word of the Lord at many different ministries.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Franklyn T. King and his wife Deborah of Virginia Beach; a daughter in law, Maryland; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother Reggie Earl King, James Edward King; sisters Linda King and Amy Shazel and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be forever missed.
