Jane Ann Schwartz

April 23, 1956 - April 16, 2021

CHESAPEAKE –  Jane Ann Schwartz 64, was called home on April 16, 2021. She was born in New York, NY to the late Hipolito Quintana and Ann Pryor Ridenour.  Jane was loving and giving, and a selfless and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend.  Jane loved being outdoors relaxing on her porch listening to her audio books for hours at a time. She also enjoyed cooking, collecting nick nacks, and above all spending time with her family, especially her son, Robert, his daughters, Raelyn and Katie Rae and her siblings.  She was an active member of the Blind Industries and had most recently taught herself how to read braille.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Linwood Richard Schwartz II and a sister, Caroline Quintana.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert Schwartz (Misty) of Chesapeake; stepsons, Linwood Richard Schwartz III (Catherine) of MD, and Craig Schwartz of Norfolk; numerous grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends who loved and adored her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30am at the funeral home with the reception to follow service on site.  Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
