Jennifer Kinzie, 42, passed away on February 22nd in Norfolk, Virginia. Jennifer was born January 21st, 1979, to Donna Lindsley and Kurt Kinzie in Oswego, New York. She graduated with her master’s degree in Human Services and Community Counseling from SUNY Oswego. Jennifer was enrolled in the Ph.D. Program of Councilor Education at Old Dominion University
during her time of passing.
Jennifer was the passionate owner and operator of Inspiring Lotus Healing Sanctuary, LLC. Her life’s work consisted of helping those in need, and she succeeded in doing this through her last
day with us. Jennifer unquestionably dedicated her life to raising and nurturing her two loving children. Her compassion showed no limits, and she would do anything for those who she
loved. Jenny loved the sunshine and warm weather; no spot on this planet was close enough to the sun for her. On a 104° day in Florida, you could find her in a hot tub by the beach
somewhere. She had a free spirit and could brighten up anyone’s day almost instantly. Jennifer touched so many lives through carrying out her passion and will be deeply missed.
Jen was predeceased by her father, Kurt. She is survived by her two children Orchid and Shawnery; her mother Donna; her brother Ryan; her sisters Hunter and Shannon; her husband Joshua; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
As per her request, Jennifer will be cremated with her ashes to be kept by her immediate family. Her children will spread the remaining ashes in Costa Rica and Hawaii. Her memorial services will be held at Fairhaven Beach on April 25th at 10:00 AM, dependent on the weather. Please check Orchid Kinzie-Middleton’s Facebook page for updates regarding the matter.
