Jeremy Howard Ray of Newport News, VA, passed away around March 03, 2020. He was born in Alaska to Ira and Beverly Ray on April 20, 1970. His growing up years were spent in California, Alaska, Florida, Colorado, New York, and Mississippi due to family and his father’s service in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated in 1988 from Biloxi High School. He entered the Navy in 1989 and served as Electrician’s Mate, until his retirement in 2009. Some of that time was served in combat zones.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly; his grandparents, Agnes I and Leonard L Allphin, and Agnes M and Clifton H Ray; his cousins Doug Jantzen and Jeff Ray; his aunts Barbara Anderson, Shirley Moulden, and Sharon Ray; and his uncles Clifford Rounds, Lewis Jantzen, Charles Johnston, and Ed Moulden.

Jeremy is survived by his sister Jodi M Norton (Clifton, spouse), his father Ira, and his nieces and nephew Donna, Audrey, and William Norton. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
