Jerry E. Lucas, 66, of Chesapeake, VA passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019, at his home.

Jerry was born in Norfolk, VA on May 10, 1953, to Thelma Lucas and the late John Victor Lucas, Sr.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Martha Parker Lucas; two children; Scott (Michelle); daughter, Krista; two grandchildren; sister, Diane (Jim); brother, John (JoAnn); sister, Sharon (Terry).

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday at Azalea Garden Church, 1541 Centerville Turnpike, VA Beach, VA with Pastor Rodney Vickers and Rev. Aubrey Maye officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning at 10:00 am at Azalea Garden Church.

Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
