My sincerest condolences to Moe’s family. I served with him for a short time during my last few years in the Army and during Bosnia. I did not know him so well but remember him as always hard working, cheerful, and able to make everyone laugh no matter the situation. RIP Moe-Moe!

I still find it hard to believe that you're gone, bro! I first met Mo in the summer of 2016, while we were on TDY out in WA state and we were immediately drawn to each other as if we had known each other forever. Maybe it's his innate nature, because he was like this to everyone. I remember him convincing me to visit my first gun show while we were there, resulting in me buying my first rifle. He was just that kind of person! Kind, thoughtful, and very transparent. Since then, we have kept in touch and even after I left the organization we would run into each other sometime and always had a minute to laugh at something. I know he will be missed by all, but this is a road that we will all have to travel one day. Condolences to his family and friends and may his soul sleep in peace!

Sorry to see you go Bro. It was great working with you at homebase and on TDY trips. I remember when we were TDY at Ft. Lewis, WA. and you brought me the 911 coffee with six shots of espresso in it. I heard the hairs on my arms growing after drinking it. Fun times. Rest in peace.

It was an honor to work with Mo. I only got to work with him for the last couple of months but in that short time I considered him a friend. When I first started working he was a great support and encouragement to me. Traveling to Yuma with him and Michael was a blast. Full of long days, laughter, spicy food, antique malls and burritos, of course. Every morning at work I would go for a morning stroll to stop by and say hi to Mo. His joy was contiguous and a blessing He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to you all during this time. Praying for you all! Praying that you all will feel the love and support from those around you even with the physical distance.

I served with Moe at Fort Bragg. I was a young soldier and new to working on aircraft. Moe liked to set people up for success and he took me under his wing and taught me to do my job well. He was a genuine person, great friend, and excellent mentor. There aren’t enough people like Moe in this world and seeing people respond to his death is proof of what a great person he was and how many lives he touched. Sincere condolences to all his family. He will be missed but always remembered.

I am sorry for your family loss. I am still in disbelief every time I see the garage open I expect to see him and Michael building another project. I have had the best neighbors ever for the past 4 years. Moe was always there to help me when my house starting falling apart or we sit outside and express our frustration on how we fix one thing a find 6 other things wrong. I miss him laughing with me and at me (especially when I got stuck on the roof of my house) but he help me get down of course. He was a kind person, loving father and it was a privilege to know him, Lora, Michael, Kayla, and Savannah. Until we meet again my friend, Your friend and neighbor Robert Pugh and the Pugh Family.

Forever grateful to Jon for being an important part of my son's(Tucker Bottin) life and giving his blessing to marry his daughter Savannah. In the brief moments I was able to spend with Jon I got to experience; his jokes, UNO playing skills along with his Culinary skills. There is no doubt he is a loved man and will live through the memories kept by others.

We met Moe early in 2018 as he was part of the Army’s Ft. Eustis team that integrated ALTIUS and its C2/launch systems into the UH-60. Specifically, Moe was in charge of all the wiring for these integration efforts, which was no small task. He was meticulous, thorough, good natured, and patient with us (especially as we would repeatedly try to blame his wiring for malfunctions that would inevitably be found to be OUR fault). Through countless hours on the range, he was always a joy to work with, and we were always excited to see him. During the “wait” times of the inevitable hurry-up-and-wait, he’d speak fondly of his wife, daughters, and son Michael (with whom we also had the pleasure of working). On more than one stressful, early YPG morning, he bailed me out of a “Pop-Tart Breakfast” with a Pancho’s Burrito (if you know, you know). Those small acts of kindness meant the world to me. Moe, I promise that no Area-I employee will drive past Pancho’s without knowing your name. To Lora, we thank you for the many months you let him spend with us, please know that he made a difference. For us at Area-I, business is personal and we will be forever grateful for the role Moe played in our successes. To Moe, we shed some tears and let out a collective, “Ooooh Daaamn” in your memory. We will miss you.

My greatest sympathies and condolences to the Mosebrook family, and to all those Mo touched in his life. Mo was by far, one of the best people I have had the honor and pleasure of knowing and working with. He was kind, caring, loving, hilarious, helpful, hard working, dedicated, and like stated - he had an infectious personality. I was fortunate enough to work with Mo for the last decade or so, and can't tell you how much fun I had with him on our countless travels across the country and endless weeks and months spent on test ranges to test various systems for the Army. He was a go-to kind of man, knowing everything, fixing everything, and making our work successful. He made the work absolutely fun - no matter how tedious or cumbersome it became. I will miss the evening drink with him while on on travel, his enormous embarrassing man-hugs, our inevitable attempts to out-embarrass each other, and the constant gut wrenching laughs. I will miss his stories, his jokes, his friendship. The Army will sorely miss his leadership, his knowledge, his dedication, and his work ethic. Mo - I look forward to the day I get another bear hug from you in Heaven!

I didnt get a chance to work with Moe much but he would come by the shop from time to time and we would just chit chat about pretty much anything. If he needed something around the shop we would work it out or if we needed something from the hangar or airfield we would help each other out. His friendly and calm demeanor made it a pleasure to be around during work or just a good oh' command cookout. Moe will be missed but not forgotten. My heart goes out to all family and friends during this time of loss. R.I.P Moe and Ride on to the Heavens my brother.
We appreciate all that Altmeyer Funeral Home provides to Beth Sholom Village.
