Joseph "Woody" Milam, Jr.

June 4, 1964 - May 11, 2018

Joseph “Woody” Milam, Jr., 53, passed suddenly on May 11th, 2018. He was born to Joseph and Phyllis Milam in Portsmouth, Virginia. Woody was a senior car sales consultant, a graduate of Bethel College and resided in Virginia Beach. He was a loving son, brother, Navy Veteran and friend who was passionate about customer service and making people laugh. You could often find him riding his bike on the boardwalk or playing golf.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Terry Milam and Ronnie Rotenberry; sisters, Debbie Abinsay and Donna Stark; his loving girlfriend, Tamara Miller; his nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents.

A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday at 3pm, May 15th, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1801 Baltic Ave, in Virginia Beach. Memorial donations in his name may go to the Parkinson’s Foundation.  A service will be held in TN at a later date and will be announced. Online condolences may be left to the family below.
