Kathleen Vincent

March 6, 1951 - September 28, 2019

Kathleen Vincent went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2019.  She was born March 6, 1951 in Middlesex County, New Jersey.  Kathleen was a 1969 graduate of Curtis High School in New York.  She retired from the Health Care field as a Licensed Practical Nurse after 30 years of selfless service.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Norman Sr. Richardson and Marjorie Richardson; a brother Norman Jr. Richardson.  She is survived by three sisters JoAnn Connor of Virginia, Jackie Bowers of New Jersey, Michele Lewis of Virginia; two brothers, Rodney Lamb of New Jersey and Gary Lamb of Florida; two aunts, Casandra Vlaun of New Jersey and Gwen Davis of Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her spiritual family at Restoration Family Life Center in Newport News, Virginia.

Kathleen was vibrant, full of life, and always on fire for the Lord.  She had a bubbly and tenacious personality that drew others to her.  Kathleen enjoyed meeting people and sharing her faith by telling them about the love of Christ.  She had a heart for bringing others to Jesus wherever she went.   In her spare time, Kathleen enjoyed crocheting and cracking jokes.   She made hats, scarves, and blankets for her nieces, nephews, and friends.  She knew how to capture the attention of children with her warmth and laughter.  Kathleen lived out her purpose to honor and glorify God.

A Memorial service will be held at the Restoration Family Life Center located at 13653 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23602 at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019.
