Kevin Richard Nuber, 62, was welcomed into heaven late April 16, 2020 of complications with cancer.
His celebration of life service is still to be determined. Kevin was born July 31, 1957 in Erie, Pennsylvania, to Howard and Madge Nuber. He was a 1975 graduate of Harborcreek High School and went on to higher education at Sacred Music Westminister College and then Rhema Bible Training College. He later received master’s degrees from Eastern University and Regent University. In 1983, Kevin founded Grace Fellowship Church of Erie, Pennsylvania, along with several area church plants. Kevin’s love for the Lord led him and his family to serve in several different capacities in the following ministries: CI Family Worship Center in Versailles, Indiana, Four Square Family Worship Center of York, Pennsylvania, and lastly serving in several local churches in Chesapeake, Virginia. In 2008, Kevin took on a new calling by completed his master’s degree at Regent University in the Career Switcher Program for education. He has been teaching ever since at Greenbrier Middle School as an English and History teacher. July 7, 1984 Kevin married Beverly Yeager and they raised their three sons. Kevin is survived by Beverly and their sons and their families: his oldest son, Corban and his wife Krissy their children James, Josh, Gennie, and the coming birth of Jackson, his middle son, Chad and his wife Kayla, and his youngest son, Curt. Kevin’s siblings and their families are his sister Becky Monde and her two sons: her son Tim his wife Kim their daughters Courtney and Camryn, her other son Todd and his wife Bree their children Evan and Chloe. Kevin’s next sibling is his brother Mike, his wife Bonnie and their four children: their son Tom his wife Heather their son Myles, their daughter Christa her husband David their children Rebecca, Joshua, and Caleb, their daughter Sara her husband Cristhian their sons Alex and Christopher, and their youngest daughter Janelle her husband David and their sons Brenden and Aaron. Kevin’s last sibling is his brother Jeff, his wife Debbie their two daughters: Rachel her husband Jason their son Jack, and Erin her husband Joe their daughters Cecilia and Bianca. He leaves behind a host of extended family, friends, students, and colleagues. His family has paid tribute to him on Facebook. He will forever be in our thoughts and memories.
