Kyle Alexander German

Died: April 6, 2018

Virginia Beach, Kyle Alexander German, 30, passed away on Friday morning April 6, 2018.  Kyle was born and raised in Virginia Beach. He attended Arrowhead Elementary and Kempsville High Schools, and went on to graduate college from Faulkner University with a scholarship in baseball.  Kyle moved back home to the Chicks Beach area and proudly worked for Mr. Rogers Windows. Kyle’s life from the time he could walk revolved around sports and he was a talented baseball player and pitcher, where he made many of his close bonds with friends.  Kyle loved his friends, loved spending time with them, and was always there for anyone in a time of need. If you knew Kyle you knew how nurturing of a person he was and how he was kind no matter the person or circumstance, and was never judgmental. Kyle loved spending time with his family, they had the opportunity over many years to enjoy big family reunions, family vacations that involved skiing and snowboarding, beach trips down to Florida, and visiting other family around the country in California, Maryland, and New York.  He loved helping his parents with any task around the house, whether it be laying new shingles on the roof, laying bricks for their patio, helping them with any technical difficulties (which seemed to be often), replacing parts in their cars, and basically fixing anything that needed it. But the best times were always cookouts with his mom, dad, sister, his new brother-in-law Eddie, and Eddie’s dog Chloe (who fully took advantage of Kyle’s sweet nature since he always allowed her on the couch). Kyle will be remembered for his infectious smile, his goofy sense of humor, and of course his impeccable dance moves.  He was a lover of good food, good music, and good beer (craft beer, of course).

Kyle is survived by his loving family, including parents Robert and Donna German; sister Christine Donohue and her husband Edward.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, many friends, and his two cats Jinxy and Skittles.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, VA, 23462.
