Additionally, Larry loved his many grandchildren to include Dante, Aydan, Dillon, DiMarco, and many other nieces and nephews. His surviving siblings include Dennis, Michael, Debra, and Brenda Kay, who reside in Huntington, Indiana.

MARINE BROTHER

Dear Larry and All who read: You may never fully understand this dedicated Marine. On 9/11, it was he who unselfishly SAVED many lives by evacuating them to safety and to medical triage areas at the Pentagon. Never recognized due to the poor leadership, but he did not care. I bring it out now to say, Thank you Master Guns! You are truly the definition of SEMPER fi. Rest in Peace, I’ll see you as you watch Heavens Gate!

Lived across street from Larry for many years. He was a great friend and neighbor. We had many conversations over the years. Larry was a true patriot. Had to move 2 years ago because of my wife’s medical needs. Sure was surprised when Tess called me when Larry was sent home with hospice. Family can be proud of Larry and his life.

It is with heavy heart that I read of your passing. I remember you fondly my classmate and our adventures growing up together. From first grade until you left and joined the Marine Corp, we had a lot of great times together and created great memories that I will always cherish. I especially remember you working on your pickup and trying to get ever mile per hour possible from it. My biggest laugh was when you thought it was great fun to run over anything in the roadway. That all ended abruptly when some genius placed a cement block in a brown paper block, and you ran over it. I also remember visiting your home and your mom offering lard/ sugar sandwiches for a snack. You have served with distinguished service to the United Sates and have made me proud to call you my friend. You have seen and completed many great deeds many will never know about. You have done well for yourself as a young man growing up from little Huntington, IN. My only regret is we not able to reconnect more in our golden years. Rest easy Larry, thanks for being a friend to me.
