Lenora Ann Howard

July 18, 1941 - December 11, 2020

Lenora Ann Miller Howard passed away on December 11, 2020.
Lenora was born on July 18, 1941 in South Dakota to John and Ann Miller. She had 3 brothers, Rudy, Leonard and Bernie and 1 sister, Ardelle. She grew up and went to school in South Dakota.
On October 11, 1959, at age 18, she married Franklin J. Howard at Trinity Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. They had 60 happy years together. Lenora had 3 children, Tony, Terry, and Theresa. The family lived in Alpha, Illinois where the kids grew up. Lenora was a housewife and mother and was involved in her church and children’s activities. She enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting. Whenever someone had a baby she was busy making them a baby afghan. She made all sizes of afghans and did beautiful work. She made all kinds of crafts and there wasn’t one she couldn’t do.
When the kids were grown, she and Frank lived in North Carolina and spent their winters in Texas. They looked forward to spending time there with friends playing cards, doing puzzles and having fun. They loved being snowbirds.
Lenora was a long time cancer survivor. She was a strong and determined woman and will be greatly missed by her children, family and friends.
The family would like to thank Interim Hospice and Home Care for their help these last few months.
