So sorry for your loss, Munley family! I have fond memories of Leona and John, who served as house parents, some years ago, at Lakeside Villa Group home, part of BASCA agency for developmentally challenged adults, in Orange Park Florida. You served with distinction and will be sorely missed! Condolences to the family as we all await that great and joyous reunion day when we can be reunited again.

“Mama Leona” was a blessing to all of us and will be remembered well. I always enjoyed working with her on events at church, and getting to meet her huge family whenever they came to town. What a great experience to have known her.

We are so sorry to hear about Leona’s passing. I have special memories of her, going all the way back to when we were both in grade school. She was so pretty and spunky, and one of my favorite cousins. I’ll always remember how amazed I was when I saw her and John, skinning deer together! Sending our deepest sympathy to John, her children and her family. (Cousin) Bob and Marion DeFazio

David and Family, Susan and I are so sorry for your loss. Please know we have been praying for you and will continue to do so in the weeks ahead. We trust that through the time of being with family, the visitation, and funeral service you have found comfort in the stories told and in being with one another. As well, we trust that the promises of eternal life for your mom and promises of God’s comfort and peace for those who remain on earth found in Scripture bring you hope and encouragement.

I am so sad to hear about the passing of a women who has been like a second mother and who has been a huge blessing in my life. I have spent numerous days at the Munley house for many years . I’ve enjoyed many of the sauce, meatballs and her famous Monkey Bread which was all delious. This is emotional for me in several ways. First that she is gone too soon. Second that she gets to see her son Jeff that she has not seen in over 30 years. What a celebration that will be. I love you Leona and I will.miss you.
