Linwood Austin Moore, 68, passed away on August 9th, 2019. He was surrounded by the love and the warmth of his family. Linwood was born to Loreta in June of 1951. He graduated in 1971 from Ferguson High School and joined the United States Army. Upon returning home for the final time, Linwood entered the open waters of the sea to engage in what would be a life-long hobby and joy – fishing. When Mr. Moore was not pulling up oysters, clams and various fish he could be found traveling on his beloved motorcycles. His love for motorcycles was nearly unmatched and the care he took with them was admirable.
Preceding Mr. Linwood A. Moore in death are his mother Loreta Hogge and his step-father, Gayle Hogge. Eugene Adams and Lillian Pennell, his grandfather and grandmother, also greeted him in the everlasting respite of Heaven.
Left behind to remember and love Mr. Linwood’s memories are his sister, Charlotte Moore, his brothers Larry and Roger Hogge and his nephew Jeremy Moore, Jesse Hogge and Curtis Hogge.
A grave side service will be held Monday, August 19, 2019 at Peninsula Memorial Park at 1:00 P.M. with honors to conclude.

You were my cousin and though we didn't really grow up together we had reconnected in recent years. I am sad for your passing but rejoice in knowing you are with God and reunited with those you loved so much, your mom Rita, your dad Gayle, Grandma, Paw Paw and my dad, your Uncle Alvin. RIP Linwood until we all meet again!
