Marc Glenn L. Orcullo, 42, joined his Creator on February 12, 2021, at Sentara Heart Hospital, following a courageous battle with Covid-19.
Marc Glenn was born in Imus, Cavite, Philippines on March 1, 1978. He is survived by his parents Rodolfo and Lucy Orcullo, brother Ryan Paul and predeceased by a brother, Richmond.
He was a devout Catholic and a member of Naomi Lodge #87 AF & AM.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife of 12 years, Cindy Velasco and daughter Cassandra, 11 years old and Collin, 7 years old.
Marc Glenn joined the US Navy in Hawaii in July 2010. After bootcamp his first assignment was to the USS BATAAN (LHD 5), homeported in Norfolk, Virginia. While on board, he was deployed to the Mediterranean for 10 months. His next assignment was at NAF Misawa, Japan. His current assignment was to the USS WASP (LHD 1) in Sesbo, Japan, then ultimately homeport shifting to Norfolk, Virginia.
Marc Glenn had a big heart and a warm endearing personality. His superiors and co-workers alike remember him vividly as someone who made himself available to help anyone who was in need and only had positive vibes to anyone who he was in contact with. He was the jokester of the group, making everyone laugh who was lucky enough to be around him. He was a caring person who always had a smile on his face.
He was truly an asset to any work group he belonged to. His wonderful sense of humor, made work days more enjoyable.
Marc Glenn’s love for life showed in all his dealings with his family, his co-workers, brother masons and friends. To know Marc Glenn is to love him. Rest in eternal peace.
