Margaret Jeanette Davenport, 74, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 27, 2020 in South Mills, North Carolina. Margaret was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Paul and Vera Weimer. She was a graduate of Hicks Beauty Academy. Margaret worked many years as a beautician and later went on to have a career in retail. She was an avid traveler and loved to travel internationally and explore new places. The highlight of her traveling adventures was the annual Women of Faith Conference. She enjoyed music and singing and was a member of her church’s choir for many years. While Margret had many loves in her life, nothing was dearer to her than her family and her faith.
Left to cherish her lasting memory are her beloved husband of 57 years Hubert; children, Angela (Joe), Daniel (Christa); grandchildren, Julie, Megan (Anthony), McCoy and Ada; great-grandson, Stanley; siblings, Becky, Vincent (Janice), Sharon, Jane (Steve), Claudette (Bill), Mary (Allen), Anna (Bob), Debbie (Brendan), Paula (Dave), Harry (Leslie), David (Debbie), Patty (EC), many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and loving friends.
A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be left for the family below.

Mr. D and Family, I am so sorry to learn this news today. I knew that Margaret had been in the hospital and that You were with Her each and every moment you could be. In my 310 years of haircuts I was only fortunate enough to encounter her a few times in the beginning. She certainly seemed to be as compassionate as You and I know She has been rewarded for that. Mr. D, You are a very loved Man with many Friends to help carry You in this tough time. Love You My Friend. Bobby

Altmeyer was incredible in their reliability and conscientious effort to detail. I personally worked from beginning to end with Joseph Limback. What an absolute blessing that was. From the first meeting we had a very easy communication path because Joseph took complete control to oversee our families welfare. Our family couldn’t have asked for better care and comfort of our love one.
