CHESAPEAKE – Margaret L. Edwards, 88, was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, September 20, 2021.  Margaret was born in Creswell, NC to the late Thomas H. and Emma Sherlock Albertson.  She loved horses, all animals, working outside and being with and caring for All of her family.  Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Erwood G. Edwards.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving sons and their wives, Glenn & Barbara Edwards, Timothy & Kirstann Edwards, Dana & Debbie Edwards, and Gregg & Carolyn Edwards; her honorary daughter, Wendy McIntosh, 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a host of other family, friends, her dog, Ladd Edwards and all her grandpets.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake.  A funeral service will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 11:00 am with Pastor Bob Hayes officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
