Mark Pittman

April 21, 1970 - August 23, 2019

04/21/1970 - 08/23/2019

Mark’s life was celebrated at a gathering in his home on August 30th.  It was a beautiful time of remembrances by family and friends.  Many lives were touched by this man who lived life so simply.
First born child.  Named after his father Christopher Mark Dunn.  Adopted by a man who was a father bigger than life to him ~ Robert (Bob) Pittman.
Signature red hair and a smile that could melt any heart ~ from the day he was born.  A defender of all things “right” and “just” engrained in him.  Evident even as a preteen when he chased away bullies teasing a special needs neighborhood child.
He lived his life in harmony crossing boarders of interracial or ethnic conflicts.
While not a follower of a particular religious sect or denomination, he read the bible from cover to cover and lived each day by guidelines of life that so many of us never even acknowledge.
Mark was the one to follow in the event of a natural disaster.  He loved, understood and respected the nature of our Earth.   He had the ability to survive without modern conveniences.
Deep thinker ~ artist ~ author ~ caring son ~ thoughtful brother ~ loving father ~ truly devoted grandfather ~ faithful friend ~ these barely scratch the surface of the Mark Pittman we know and love.

My sweet Mark, my memories are many, but the ones that stand out the most is how sweet, loving and kind he has always been. Quiet by nature, because he was a good listener yet, when talking with him we never seemed to run out of things to talk about. The world. Was blessed by his presence while here and continue in our hearts. I love him dearly and look forward to him showing me around heaven when I get there. I miss him, but seeing his sweet smile, always makes me smile.
