“Growing up I always knew you as dad…and at times growing up I use to hold your past against you…but growing up and trusting in God taught me to respect you cause without you there was no me…im not gone say I’m grieving but I’m deeply sad having mixed emotions…cause I always just wanted that father figure…but you neva stayed away and always wanted to keep in contact…i had just out grown the situation…i forgave you along time ago…but you left me without coming to say goodbye…i just wanted you to make up all the lost time…not knowing your time was coming to a end so soon… – Denise Carroll, loving daughter

What our families say...

In my opinion, there is no better facility in Virginia than Altmeyer Funeral Homes. Not only was Chris Sisler there to hold my hand every step of the way, his family members were holding the door on the day of the funeral to help and encourage me. I will never forget their grace. He led me and my family through the process as a personal friend and neighbor, and as the ultimate professional.
