Mary Panos Koutris, 89, of Newport News, Virginia passed away on October 5th, 2018. She is proceeded in death by her husband Nick J. Koutris, her parents George and Helen Panos, her brothers James and Ernest Panos, and her sister Olga Konstant. She is survived by her daughter Vickie O’Neill and her husband Tim O’Neill, her son Jim Koutris and his wife Dee Koutris, her son George Koutris, her sister Carney Hayes, her four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Tuesday October 9th, 6 to 8PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home at Riverside Chapel 7415 River Road, Newport News, VA. Funeral services will be Wednesday October 10th, 11AM at Saint Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 60 Traverse Road, Newport News, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America, or Saint Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 60 Traverse Road, Newport News, VA.

Mary greatly enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and trying her luck at slots but more than anything she loved being with her family. She was quick to smile and spread happiness to everyone she met with. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.
