Virginia Beach – Michael Allen Sabin, 60, passed away October 26, 2015.  Michael was born in Munich, Germany to the late Edward and Caroline Sabin.  He was a retired Navy veteran of 26 years.  Michael enjoyed history, sitting on the beach, but he mostly loved spending time with family.
Left to cherish his memory, are his loving wife, Allison; daughters, Ashley Cole (Richard) and Alicia Sabin , all of Virginia Beach; siblings, Kathy Johnson, Coleen Collier, Ed, Bob, Bill, and Ken Sabin.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 7:30pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake.  A life celebration will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Community Church of Chesapeake, 253 Saint Lukes Church Rd, Chesapeake.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or the Lung Cancer Alliance (www.lungcanceralliance.org).  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.

Mike will be greatly missed. He was a great person and a great friend at TACTRAGRULANT. I will really miss him. My prayers are with the family. I always remember all he did for me during my retirement from the Navy. A real standup guy.
