Moises Levin, 83, passed away on January 3, 2020. He was born in Havana, Cuba to the late Isaac and
Sara Levin.
Moises has been predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Sara Levin, brother, Solomon Levin and sister in-
law Ilia Levin, brother in-law K. Harold Bolton
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Raquel Levin; daughters, Ida Rebecca “Becky” Levin and
Corinne Levin- Wozniewski (Kurt); brother-in-law, Isaac Alboukrek (Graciela); sister-in-law, Matilde
Bolton; nieces and nephews, Judy Bolton-Fasman (Ken), Carol Bolton-Kappel (Jonathan), John Bolton,
Jack Alboukrek (Niva), Karen Alboukrek-Benson (Christopher); grandson, Joshua Sailey (Sheri) and their
daughter, Sophia; seven great nieces and nephews.
After leaving Havana, Moises moved to Connecticut where he spent 53 years before moving to Virginia
Beach. Moises was an avid reader and had a particular passion for discussions that surrounded history,
philosophy, politics, and current events. Most of all, Moises was a family man. He loved his wife and
children more than anything.
A funeral Service will be held at on January 7, 2020 at Altmeyer Funeral Home Southside Chapel located at 5033 Rouse Drive
in Virginia Beach beginning at 11am. Following the chapel service there will be a graveside service at
Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with a meal of consolation being held at Altmeyer Funeral Home.
