Nhiem Thi Pham

October 10, 1953 - February 2, 2021

CHESAPEAKE – Nhiem Thi Pham, 67, went to the Lord on February 2, 2021.  Nhiem was born in the Hải Dương Province of Vietnam and emigrated to the US in 1975.  She was the daughter of the late Thuong Van Pham and Hoi Thi Nguyen.   Nhiem was an active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Loc Kim Mai.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, John H. Mai and his wife Christine, of Chesapeake; sister, Thuy Talton of Hampton; grandchildren, Elyse, Isaac, and Emma; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake on Sunday from 4PM until 6PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Newport News. Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
