Pamela "Prissy" Rendon

November 22, 1963 - April 5, 2021

Pamela Rendon, 57, of Norfolk, VA died unexpectedly on April 5, 2021. Her loss was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. She is predeceased by her parents, Milton and Julia Suggs. Her survivors include her son, Richard Lance Rendon, his wife, Ivette Garcia Rendon, their children, Makayla, Carlos, Natalia, and Jada. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Malbon and her brothers Michael and Bobby Oden. Pamela held her cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family close to her heart throughout her life.

Pamela, lovingly known as Prissy by her family, was born on November 22, 1963, to Milton and Julia in Norfolk, VA. Prissy attended Norview High School and was passionate about music, reading, dancing and spending time with her family. After graduating high school, Prissy remained close to her parents in Norfolk where she gave birth to and raised her beloved son, Richard “Ricky” Rendon.

She worked as a retail associate at the Norfolk Navy Exchange until she gave birth to her son. She dedicated her life to being the best mother to her son, who later blessed her with her precious granddaughter, Makayla.

Anyone who knew Prissy, knew that was kind, intelligent, loving, and extremely generous. She had an immense passion for music and Jesus Christ. Prissy’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.

There will be a funeral service held at 2:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Chesapeake Chapel, 929 Battlefield Blvd S. Chesapeake, VA 23322.
