Paul Joseph Mikluschak Jr.,64, went home to his heavenly father, Jesus Christ, on February 20, 2021.
Paul was born in Lakehurst New Jersey. He grew up in the Northside area of Norfolk and attended Granby High School. He excelled at competitive swimming during his teen years. He enlisted in the Navy after High School.
Former Navy Petty Officer First Class Mikluschak served his country faithfully as a Calibration and Aviation Electronics Technician and Supervisor. During his Civilian career he travelled the world working for SAIC/AMSEC in the capacity of Metrology and Calibration Program manager and Laboratory Systems Engineer.
Paul had a natural facility for the emerging field of IT Security. At the Joint Battle Center, he was a Project manager, Senior Consulting Field Engineer, Information Assurance Officer, and System Administrator.
He owned Internet Systems Security Engineering, LLC. where he was an Information Assurance Consultant. As a Senior Network Security Analyst for SAIC/EMA he provided Certification and Accreditation and Information Assurance. At the State Corporation Commission, he was a Computer Security Analyst III and Senior Security Systems Engineer.
Paul was a gentle and generous soul who found comfort in his deep Christian faith. His favorite bible passage was John 3:16. He loved his family, friends, music, the Washington Redskins football team and telling stories about his youth.
Paul Jr. was preceded in death by his father Paul Mikluschak Sr.
He is survived by his wife, stepchildren and their families, his mother, Irene Mikluschak of Chesapeake, VA. sister Debbie Parlett of Chesapeake, VA. aunts Joan Ferst of Rocky River, OH, Joan Disney of Pensacola, FL, Terry Disney of Pensacola, FL, uncle Cliff Disney of Pensacola, FL, Nieces Kayla and Lilly Fenmore of Chesapeake, VA, Julie Fenmore of Norfolk, VA, Katherine Parlett of Norfolk, VA, Nephews, Brian Parlett of Norfolk, VA, Tyrone Felton-Parlett of Chesapeake, VA
