Paulina Baluyut Vitug

February 3, 1939 - January 14, 2021

NORFOLK – Paulina B. Vitug (known as Joyce to some) 81, died January 14, 2021.  Paulina was born in Del Carmen, Luboa of the Pampanga province in the Philippines to the late, Moises and Adriana Gintu Baluyut.  She had worked as a school teacher, and then for Sentara Leigh Hospital and for Norfolk International Airport.  Paulina was an active member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary.  She enjoyed gardening , and spending  time with and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 58 years, Honorato E. Vitug; daughters, Maria Fouts (Tim) of Columbia, MD, Liza Vitug of Columbia, MD, Elena Dinardo (Michael) of Wyoming, OH, and Joyce Ammay (James) of Chesapeake; 1 sister; 2 brothers;  five grandchildren, Joshua, Kobi, Sofia, Anna, and Jessica; and a host of other family and friends.

Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.  Express condolences to the family below.
