Hello my friend Raul, I did’t have time to post my memories sooner, however, now that I have time to compose myself, I just want to say how grateful I am that I have met you and your family. Our friendship spans all the way back in 1980, remember sharing family stories, ambitions and future plans together whenever we had time, playing chess or just goofing around (back when we were young and single). I will always remember you as a special-great friend, and I could not remember any single of my request that you have turned down, you always go the extra mile to please me. You’ve always told me that your most precious gift is your family and taking care and providing them a good future is your #1 priority. You have fulfilled that mission with flying colors. Remember that you never mentioned your children’s achievements, Eli when he graduated in high school as Valedictorian and went on to graduate in Nursing, Chandra when she graduated in Nursing and Guenther graduating in College. You were so down to earth and humble person my friend. Although life on earth is too short, overall you have clocked a long way and have left behind a family that is well-loved and taken care of. I will miss you my friend and rest assured I will continue to assist your loved ones anyway I can, and if there is really a place to go after death then my hope is that our paths will meet again!!

Words can’t express the impact that you have had on our lives. You and Lin were the first people we met when we moved to Yorktown almost 24 years ago. Both of you welcomed us with open arms and have been family ever since, through the struggles, watching our children grow, sharing holidays, providing your wisdom, guidance, and mentorship, but most of all the LOVE and JOY you have always shared with us! Raul, our brother and friend you will we deeply missed, but we are better people and extremely thankful that the LORD has shared you with us! Love Always and Forever, Russ, Miguela, Yuije and Alex
