Reta, my dear sister Reta, I miss you so much. I joined the Navy because of my big sister, and I was privileged to be stationed with her and her family over the years. Our closeness grew as we grew older, and her wisdom, laced with kindness and humor, guided me with love and reassurance. She was the epitome of a "big sister", and the light of our family. I will never stop missing you, my sweet Reta, and I will never let go of your hand. May you rest in peace, Chief.
