Richard Clinton "Clint" Snee

October 15, 1961 - December 30, 2019

Richard Clinton (“Clint”) Snee, 58, passed away December 30, 2019 in Virginia Beach. He was surrounded by his loving family.


Clint was born October 15, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Charles B. Snee and Susan S. Snee.  He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Crestwood High School and The University of West Georgia.


He served proudly in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and retired a Senior Chief. Clint’s retirement years were spent enjoying his family and his music. He was an avid fan of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and The Grateful Dead. He loved playing his guitars and writing music.


Clint was preceded in death by his father, Charles Beam Snee.


Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Susan S. Ramsay; sister, Lauren (Andrew) Booth; his four children, Creah (Todd) Burandt, Jack (Emilee) Snee, Katie (Josh) Ginn and Megan Snee, as well as his six grandchildren, Kylee, Audrey, Kolson, Harper, Laurel and Harlee. Many other extended family members and friends.


A celebration of life will be Saturday, February 1 @ 4:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home Southside Chapel (5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462).
