Robert or, as most knew him "Bob", was the owner of Worlds Best Comic store in Newport News, VA. His quiet, pleasant demeanor will be missed. Bob's vast knowledge of the Comic book and Sci-Fi entertainment industry was locally and internationally well known and respected. As a single parent with two boys, the "Comic" store provided a safe place for my oldest Vincent to collect, trade, and learn about the comic book industry. Bob became Vincent's friend and mentor. Thanks in part to Bob's influence, Vincent is now a successful gaming artist with Electronic Arts in California. He will be attending funeral services in Newport News to bid a final goodbye to his friend Bob.
