Robert Twells Evans, 92, passed away on March 21, 2021 in Williamsburg, Virginia. He was born in Wisconsin to the late Robert and Frances Evans on September 5, 1928.
Robert is preceded in death by a son, Roger Evans, whom he will be laid rest by at the Wilton Presbyterian Church in Connecticut at a later date yet to be determined.
He is cherished in memory by his loving wife of 32 years, Lucille Evans and two step-children, Diana Judelson and Andrew Judelson. Bob is also held in the hearts of his son, Robert Evans and Susan Jordan.
Robert was a 1950 graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. He joined General Telephone and Electronics Corporation as one of their Electrical Engineers from which he later retired. He had an interesting career that took him to Moscow for several months to oversee the installation of new telephone systems.
Robert and Lucille were members of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church living in Ford’s Colony from 1999 to the present. They enjoyed boating and entertaining friends at their summer home on Lake Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire. He will be forever known for his puns and wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
