Robert James Heald, beloved son and brother passed away, at home, surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Robbie was defined by his deep and endless love of his family and friends. Nothing made him happier than being with those who knew and treasured him. His contagious laugh and infectious smile lit up the aisles of Lowe’s each week. Spending time on the beach and at Loon Lake on family vacations were the highlight of each of his summers.
Every life he touched was made better by his special presence, unique humor, and steadfast love. He will be missed beyond words and will always hold a place in the hearts of his parents, Jack and Maureen, his twin brother Brian, younger brother Jason, his aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Visitation will be hosted at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Southside Chapel on Sunday, April 11th 12-4 PM and the funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 12th at 2 PM at St. Marks Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made in Robbie’s memory to CHKD Bereaved Family Advisory Council/ Palliative Care in gratitude to Dr. Ami Mehta, whose kindness and care brought comfort and peace to Robbie and his family.

Sending prayer and condolences to the family. Although I’ve only known him briefly, Robbie’s spirit was an absolute joy to be around. His laughter was very contagious and I will treasure it forever.

To the Heald family,
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. It is my prayer that you will be comforted by the many fond memories you had with Robbie. The pain will never go away but it will ease with time. Remember, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

RIP Robbie!! So sorry to hear the news of his passing. He was such an amazing young man and always had a huge smile on his face! We all looked forward to him and his family coming in every Saturday at Lowe’s and we all would stop whatever we were doing to go say hello and talk with him and of course make sure we ran the forklifts for him. He has touched alot of people’s lives and will b missed!! My condolences to the family.
Jack and Family – I’m so sorry to learn of Robbie’s passing. Although I never met Robbie in person, I remember when he and Brian were born and listened over the years as the boys and later Jason as well were the center of your lives. I’ll be thinking of you and sending hugs during this difficult and challenging time.
