Robert Rutledge Jr., 74, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on April 28th, 2021 in Virginia Beach.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory (5033 Rouse Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23462)

Robert was born in Macon, Georgia to Robert Rutledge Sr and Dorothy Rutledge on January 29th, 1947. He married Rebecca Rutledge on July 3rd, 1971 in Virginia Beach. He was self-employed as a roofer.

Robert is preceded in death by Robert Rutledge Sr. (Father), Dorothy Rutledge (Mother), Ricky Rutledge (Brother), and Robert Rutledge III(Son).

Robert is survived by Rebecca Rutledge (Wife), His Daughters, Dayna Scott (Thomas Scott) and Shanna Estep (Joey Estep), His Daughter in law, Patricia Rutledge, His Brothers, Raymond Rutledge and Rodger Rutledge (Denise Rutledge), His Grand Children, Tonya Winslow, Christopher Winslow (Jordan Winslow), Dylan Winslow, Victoria Estep, Chase Rutledge, Cole Rutledge, and Macie Rutledge, His Great-Grandchildren, Ryker Winslow and Harper Winslow and other family and friends.

In lieu of flower memorial donations may be sent to the family home at 129 N Fir Ave Virginia Beach, VA 23452. The Family of Robert Rutledge wishes to thank Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory and the nurses and staff at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.
