Robert Wayne "Bobby" Costa

August 11, 1954 - January 24, 2020

PORTSMOUTH – Robert Wayne “Bobby” Costa, 65, died January 24, 2020.  Bobby was born in Alameda County, CA to the late Arthur Ronald Costa and Peggy Connors.  He was an avid wrestling fan, enjoyed cooking , barbequing, collecting Budweiser memorabilia, working on and repairing anything mechanical, especially cars.  Bobby was known for his generosity to everyone.   He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need of it.  Bobby was predeceased by brothers, Pewee and Artie Costa.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving daughters, Sandra Costa of VA, Tiffany Mawson of AZ, Tamara Mawson of NC and Bobbie (Costa) Jobes and her husband, Anthony of NC; siblings, Sissy Vasser of OR, Steve Fowler of VA, Ricky Fowler and his wife Collen of VA and Jo Anne Skipper and her husband Skip of VA; grandchildren, D’Mitri, LyNeaizjhiah, Justis, Brooklyn, Anthony Jr., Chase and Dakotah; and a host of other family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake.  Bobby’s sudden death has caught the family by surprise and left them both emotionally and financially devastated.  Please honor Bobby’s Memory and help ease the financial burden the family has found themselves in by making a donation in his name to http://gf.me/u/xgdmn2.  Express condolences to the family below.
