Ronald S. Harrison

August 28, 1952 - January 16, 2016

Chesapeake – Ronald S. Harrison, 63, died peacefully surrounded by family, Saturday, January 16th 2016 – after a brief but exhausting battle with liver cancer.

Ron lived in Hampton Roads his entire life. After graduating from Kempsville High School (’72) in Va. Beach, he completed the 5 yr. apprentice program, and was employed until retirement with Dominion Virginia Power as a Substation Electrician (IBEW Local 50).

He was an accomplished fisherman and could often be found with a line in the water anywhere between the local piers close to home and the 4×4 beaches in Outer Banks.

He is survived by his sons, Blaine Steven Harrison and Justin Adam Harrison; his brother Floyd Allen Harrison (and wife Carla Harrison); former spouse Frances Kaye Carney; and his best friend and life partner Mary Patricia Moore.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 26 at 12:00 pm at Colonial Grove Memorial Park Columbarium in Va. Beach with a reception to follow.
