Rufino P. Ganaden, 85, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on April 8, 2021. Born in Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines on July 19, 1935, he was the son of Estelita and Lorenzo Ganaden.
Rufino pursued Pre-Dental studies before he served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1978. He attended St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He enjoyed gardening, playing tennis, and fishing.
Rufino is survived by his wife of 54 years, Claudia Tipora Ganaden. He is also survived by his two daughters, Corazon Goss and her husband David, Rhoda Ballantyne and her husband Adam; grandchildren, Benjamin Goss, Abigail Goss, Maxwell Ballantyne, Eleanor Goss, Franklin Goss, Mitchell Ballantyne, Griffin Ballantyne; sisters-in-law, Lily Tipora, Norma Tipora, Edith Tipora, Cora Tipora; brother-in-law, Nathaniel Tipora; brother, Fr. Francisco Ganaden.
He will be lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends around the globe.
