CHESAPEAKE, VA – Ryan Lawrence Crosby, 39, passed away September 19, 2021.  Ryan was born in Elgin, IL to Julie McNees.  He served in the US Navy for over 19 years and was currently working as a Landing craft air cushion (LCAC) Engineer instructor.  Ryan loved sports, physical fitness, fast cars, camping and above all spending time and making memories with his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 19 years, Tatiana Crosby; daughters, Annabella and Camilla Crosby; sisters, Breanne, Shannon, Brooke, and Jenna; mother, Julie McNees; grandparents, David and Lynnette Crosby; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 929 South Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA on Thursday 23 September from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  A celebration of life service will be held on Friday 24 September at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story Gator Theater from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.  Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
