Sandra White Buchanan
VIRGINIA BEACH- Sandra White Buchanan, age 60, passed away on September 10, 2015. She was born in Newport News, Virginia to Bonnie (Carr) White and the late Norman J. White of Valley Bend, West Virginia. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Kenneth “Buck” Buchanan; daughter Angel Treadway in West Virginia; three sisters, Debbie O’Brien in Michigan, Missy Turley in West Virginia, and Norma Fitzgerald in Virginia; one brother Norman “Jack” White Jr. in VA;  four step children by marriage, Melody Badiee in Florida, Sally Jo Buchanan in Illinois, Kenneth Buchanan Jr. in Virginia, and Shannon Balram in California; three granddaughters, Burkley Dewitt, Jacinta and Arezoo Badiee; and several other beloved family members.
A former resident of Valley Bend, West Virginia, she was an employee with Tygart Valley Construction at Snowshoe, West Virginia, several years until her illness. She fought a courageous battle for two years with cancer, always trusting God along the way. While in West Virginia she attended Rivers of Living Waters Church (2 Lincoln Avenue, Elkins, West Virginia, 26241), upon moving to Virginia Beach she attended Kempsville COG (4422 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). She was loved deeply, and passionate about her family. The visitation will be on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Randolph Funeral Home in Valley Bend, West Virginia. Reverend Mike Boggs will officiate the funeral on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at Randolph Funeral Home with burial following at Mountain State Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Elkins, West Virginia. My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this sad time. Sandy was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. I have so many fond memories of Sandy that I will cherish forever. My heart goes out to my Aunt Bonnie, Debbie, Norma, Missy & Jack. I love you all. I pray that God will continue to be with you & strengthen you.
