Steve Van Slyke passed away from a stroke at Virginia Beach General Hospital on
Sunday, April 25, 2021 in Virginia Beach, VA. Steve is survived by his wife Pamela
Van Slyke of 29 years and daughters, Sarah and Stacie of Arizona, stepsons Russ
and Shawn of Virginia Beach, VA, brothers Tommy and Michael of Rochester, NY,
and many wonderful grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and
nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, James and Jeanette
Van Slyke and brothers, Joey and Jimmy of Rochester, NY.
Steve was born in Rochester, NY and was the owner of SVS Construction & Tile
Company since 1985. An avid New York Giants Football Team fan, known for his
spaghetti sauce and loved to travel.
In lieu of flowers, please send remembrance donations to the Virginia Beach
SPCA. A memorial service (celebration of life) will be held on Saturday, May 22,
2021 at 1pm, Back Bay Christian Assembly, 1212 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia
Beach.
