October 1, 1932 - June 19, 2018

Sue H. Temple of Chesapeake, went to be with her Lord at age 85​ on June 19, 2018. Sue was a faithful member of Gateway Freewill Baptist Church and was a dedicated​ wife, mother and grandmother with a special gift for preparing meals for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her dear husband Wayne Temple and her parents James Joyner and Sadie Godwin.

She is survived by her 5 children: Jim and Linda Temple of Harrisburg, NC, Eddie and DruAnne Temple of Raleigh, NC, Sheila & Ron Baskins of Norfolk, VA, Brenda Flora of Chesapeake, VA and Wanda and Eric Henderson of Bryan, TX. She will be forever missed by her 11 grandchildren and 2​4​great grandchildren​. The family would like to extend their thanks to Colleen Tyler with Senior Corp. along with the staff at Medi Home Hospice care for their compassionate care.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 22 from 6-8 pm at Gateway Free Will Baptist Church 5473 Virginia Beach Blvd. VA Beach, VA 23462. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 12:00 pm followed by procession to Rosewood Memorial Park.
