Tracy Renee Winkler was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Glen and Nettie Bishop on September 28th, 1967.  She went to Hamilton High School.  She married Steven Dale Winkler on August 6th, 1990 in Norfolk, Virginia.  She worked as a Teacher’s aide at Corporate Landing Middle School.  She was a Navy Wife Veteran, and ran many events to include a homecoming committee for the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69), and was actively involved as an Ombudsman for HELANTISUBRON FIVE (HS-5).

Tracy is survived by Steven Winkler (husband), Corey Winkler (son), Courtney Drommerhausen (daughter), Debi Baker (sister), Tom Bishop (brother), Glen and Nettie Bishop (parents), Judy Garrett (mother-in-law), Buchnor and Lazlo Drommerhausen (grandsons) and Tammie Day.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Tracy’s name to any Spinal Cord Injury charitable organization.

Visitation will be held at 11:00am, November 27th, 2021 at Altmeyer Funeral Home Maestas Chapel, located at 1801 Baltic Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00pm at the same location.  Pastor Chris Sakis of Beach Fellowship will be officiating.
