It is with great sadness that the family of Tyrone Malcome Hurtt Jr.,28, of Lorton, VA announces his passing on Friday, April 2, 2021, after a tragic vehicle accident. Tyrone came into this world on July 10, 1992, in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Tyrone Hurtt Sr. and the late Angela Fields. He was the youngest of three siblings, Yolanda Johnson and Cherrelle Matthews-Scott (Duana Scott). He is the father to Tyrone “TJ” Hurtt III.
He graduated in the class of 2011 at Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, VA. He mostly worked as a Material Handler in different logistics positions. His favorite part was being a driver for various companies as he went on daily adventures and he loved the scenery from his truck.
Tyrone is most known for his great smile and warm heart. Tyrone was a wonderful friend to many, who will miss his free spirit. He was a loyal member of the Baltimore Ravens Nation. Just like his caring mother, he loved everyone he came in contact with and would help a stranger without a second thought. His selflessness positively impacted the world around him.
He was also preceded in death by his extended brother Garner “Piper” Charles, Aunt Doreen Ferebee, and Uncle Jerome Hurtt. Tyrone will forever be lovingly remembered by his son TJ, Yolanda Johnson, Cherrelle Matthews-Scott (Duana Scott), Aunts Kim Fields and Valarie Hurt, niece Imani James, nephews Frenchon James and Harley Scott. Extended grandmother Catherine Matthews, Cousins: Donald Ferebee Jr., twins, Erica and Monica Ferebee, Kemper Long, Phillip Long, Kendra Long, Courtney Allen, Jemel Dixon, twins Melanie and Matthew Allen; and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.
