Virginia “Jenny” Ann Pinner, 79, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was born in Wilmington, Delaware to the late E. Wert and stepdad, J.H. Gordon and Margaret Holmes Gordon. Jenny worked in food service for the Virginia Beach School Board until she retired. She was an honorary member of the Va. Beach Volunteer Fire Department, Station 8 and 11; and the Red Hat Society.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eption Pinner; daughter, Diane Winter; two sisters, Shirley Carly and Esther Todd; and her cats, Maggie and Molly. Jenny is survived by three children, Steve (Tammy), Mark, and Wanda (Downs); son-in-law, Duane; six grandchildren, Stephen, Justin, Travis, Brandon, Shannon, and Blaise; one sister, Tanya; and two brothers, Blackie and Nobie.

A visitation will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Avenue, Virginia Beach on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 pm with burial following at Princess Anne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad Station 14 , at www.TMCFunding.com. Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
