William R. “Bill” Scott Sr. of Suffolk born September 8, 1932, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 5, 2018. He died of natural causes at home surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his youngest son William “Dusty” Scott. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Patricia Ann Scott and by his other children: Tammy, Malinda, Joe and Keisha; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He retired from C&P Telephone Company after 36 years of service. He also was a retired Virginia Beach school bus driver. Bill proudly served his country as a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of Goldwing Road Riders Association, Chapter B for many years and was a member of Community Church at Western Branch.
Bill will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Friday April 13, 2018 at 2pm in Community Church at Western Branch, 1935 Jolliff Road, Chesapeake, VA 23321. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.

Remembering the rides we went on together, the trip to Tennessee, and all the great times we shared. How Bill would call Alan every night. Alan loved those calls. Love to all of you
