Funeral Intern

Stephen is a Mexican-American Chicano who was born and raised in Northern Los Angeles County up until his enlistment in the United States Navy. He served our country for 5 years with his Strike Fighter Squadron of F/A-18F Super Hornets the World Famous Fighting Blacklions at Naval Air Station Oceana and did a combat deployment overseas on CVN 77 USS George H.W. Bush in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.  He is currently attending Tidewater Community College for his two degrees; Associates Degree in Funeral Service and Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.

Stephen is a Gold Star Survivor and is committing his time to serving other Gold Star families in their time of need along with comforting any other family burdened with the loss of their loved one. Outside of work he enjoys playing soccer and competitive swimming. He is also a father of two Shiba Inus, Akira and Furrina, and a cat, Lord Whiskertins.
