I knew Grace when I was a student at Regent. When I left Va. Beach, she bought some of my stuff that I couldn't fit in my car back to Buffalo. She was always kind-hearted-- I'm sad that she passed away-- "gone too soon."

Dave, your amazing Grace will always be the "Bee's Knees" to me! We had such a fun, energetic, transparent, loving, prayerful team in Public Relations/Alumni Relations at Regent so many years ago. I promise to try to be all the most wonderful things I loved about her (aside from any of that running stuff...that's out!) My heart is full for you all today as you celebrate her at Regent University, a place forever touched by her wisdom, her drive, her joy. You are in my thoughts here in Florida.

My deepest condolences to the Alegre and Malinag families. I attended high school with Grace and her big sister, Jennifer. We shared some good times in our orchestra class. Her genuine smile, humble and kind spirit is so vivid and fresh in my memories of her from our high school days. May the fond memories be of comfort to you during this most difficult time.

I fell in love with Grace the moment we met. We bonded over chocolate chip cookies and horrid coffee from the student lounge. Of all her many talents and attributes, it’s her laugh I’ll miss the most. Grace laughed easily. She laughed joyfully. Her million-watt smile never failed to draw people close to her. And once drawn in, Grace’ made you feel special and valued. She was a remarkable person with unlimited compassion for others. I will miss her....and the sound of her laughter.
