Dear Patsy and family, Eileen joins me in expressing our sincerest sympathies at your loss of Nick. We had a previous engagement and could not make his services. Know that you and your family are in our prayers and thoughts. We have fond memories of both you and Nick a truly exemplary and fun couple. Love, Billy and Eileen

Patsy, you and your wonderful family are in our thoughts and prayers with the passing of our dear, dear friend Nick. Our memories of traveling out of town to football games and the many laughs we shared with you and Nick bring big smiles. However, Carlton's special memories of Nick began much earlier and included fun memories of Rene and Stephen. Dining at the King was a regular routine for us and it came with the bonus of more fond memories of the Michael clan. Always you and Nick remained the ideal couple, the fun couple and the couple of adoration. Our hearts are broken knowing a cherished friend has passed and the world is now not quite as much fun. Please know that we are with you in thought and prayer, even though we must miss Nick's service due to our health situation. Love you, Patsy!!

Nick was one of the kindest, most sincere people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. We have many fond memories of Nick. Especially laughing lots during long bike rides. But one of our fondest memories is his infectious smile. You couldn't help but smile when he did. Patsy and family, we are so very very sorry for your loss.

I am very sad to hear of Nicky's passing. I remember working at King of the Sea when Papu and YaYa were alive. The family values were strong then, and I know will continue to be now at this difficult time. To the entire family, I know Nicky's memories will stay alive in each of you and God will bless you at this time.

God rest his soul. I remember him as one of my first coaches, and he made an indelible mark on my life. Great man, who’s going to be a great angel for his family still on earth. Praying for the entire Michaels family, especially his son Stephen. Hang in there brother.

Nick was a true family man. I enjoyed so much knowing him as a fellow Saint Nicholas member. You could count on Nick to get to the heart of a matter, but do so in a down to earth manner with a story thrown in. May his memory be eternal.

The pure beauty of beach people for us brothers of surfing is we were all equally accepted no matter what the difference in age. I liked that melting pot of surf wax. Nicki loved to smile like all those Micheals, but I had to leave Va. Beach proper behind as I don’t know anyone there anymore. I’m happy now and I love those Micheals always but I had to say goodbye. Patsy, Charlotte, Stephen and family, Thank you for sharing Nick with all of us. He was a mainstay of our childhood and played a huge role in bringing unforgettable moments to us all. He was a presence throughout my father's illness and an unwavering "gentleman." He will be missed deeply. The Scarborough Family
