Condolences for Kevin J. Cwayna

With a 1000+ miles between us our decades long, loving friendship never waivered - during the Army years he was my shoulder and protector while I was expecting a baby and my husband was with the MFO in the Gaza Strip and a middle of the night call that my husband was stuck in Dover and only had 11 days leave and Kevin got up and took me to Dover to get him and even picked up another soldier stranded there too, having to put him in the back in freezing weather in February and delivering him to his home too. I have memories of the every Sunday dinner with our friends;each week taking turns cooking (he was a great cook), watching the game on TV, and he would still get perturbed, but would laugh too when 20+ years later I would laugh at how he got his mustache and one eyebrow singed off while working on my carburetor when my husband was overseas. I could go on and on of what a good friend he was. He was always a phone call away and now I feel a deep loss. I send my condolences to Donna (who was always gracious), Kaila and Taylor (who drew me pictures when I went to visit in VA that are now packed away) and to Christopher (his Dad talked about him often). RIP Kevin, you will never be forgotten.

So sorry for the family's loss. Kevin was our neighbor for many years and you couldn't have asked for a nicer guy.
