Condolences for John Edward Machuzak

We very fortunate to have met John through his beautiful angel Leslie, and immediately saw his strength and pure love; we are not perceptive - it just so clearly runs in the family! We add our voices to the very many who rightly honor his service to his country, his family and his faith community. We have been so blessed to get to know Johnny a bit too and are so grateful that like his sister his capacity for generous love knows no bounds. The Lord will truly be taking care of this family, and we add our prayers that your many wonderful memories help comfort you in this time of loss.

I met you 16 years ago at Bayside Presbyterian during my first AA meeting. At the end of the meeting proceeding tour Lords Prayer you said “Whether you like it or not”. Those words for the next 16 years of battling sobriety would keep me going and strong. Thank you. Fair winds and following seas my friend.
