Condolences for Marvin Morgan Parker

Marvin was a great friend of mine in high school and later. We were in the H. S. band and played in a little dance combo in high school. Life took us to separate states and careers, but we stayed in contact off and on and enjoyed times at reunions. He led a life of service. He was a great guy and he'll be missed by all who knew him.

I’m so sorry to learn of Marvin’s passing . Marvin and I we’re buddies in the mid to late 60s and attended West Georgia college together. I still live in Newnan. He played drums some back then with a band that I was in at the time. We went to several concerts together to see Ray Charles, James Brown and Ramsey Lewis. All of these were in Atlanta. He was a good friend and we shared our love of music. I lost track of him over the years but did manage to see him a few years ago at a high school reunion. It was good to see him. We spoke briefly. I will always cherish those memories of Marvin. He was a fine man! My heartfelt condolences to the family!

Marvin Nd I worked together in Spinal Cord for years. We would help one another out because it seem we always had tons of things to do for our patients. Marvin and I always lended on hand to each other. He always had that style of a true southern gentleman. You will be miss! You will always be in your loved ones hearts constantly.
